The Role of Hibernia Resources LLC

Hibernia Resources manages our US operations and acts as independent operator and adviser to the Company.

Hibernia Resources provides office facilities and technical personnel to identify, screen, evaluate, negotiate and transact all acquisitions of producing properties, prospective acreage and other exploration and production ventures for the Company.

On closing of such purchases Hibernia Resources supervises all operating activities and exploration activities, and provide accounting and administrative services to AEPL.

Hibernia Resources may also act as the operator on projects. in which the we hold a Working Interest.

Background

Hibernia Resources is primarily engaged in the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas assets in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma with a particular focus on the Permian Basin (West Texas and Southeast New Mexico), the Forth Worth Basin (North-Central Texas) and the East Texas Basin (East Texas and Northwest Louisiana).

Hibernia also focuses on exploring for new field discoveries and the extension of existing oil and gas fields by utilizing the most current exploratory techniques including 3-D seismic data. 

Management

The principals and strategic partners of Hibernia Resources share extensive experience in all facets of the upstream and downstream areas of the oil and gas industry. The following is a brief background of the principals and key strategic partners responsible for the Company's management and the pursuit of the Company's growth strategy.

P. Embry Canterbury

Mr. Canterbury started Hibernia Resources in October 2007. Previously he was employed by North American Energy as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for all technical and financial issues for the company's exploration and production activities. Prior to joining North American Energy, he was President of Ro-Jo, Inc., a Dallas-based operating company, where he directed all operations, including the financing of all exploration and production activities in the Permian Basin, East Texas and Upper Texas Gulf Coast. Prior to joining Ro-Jo, Inc., he worked as District Engineer for Halliburton Energy Services in Odessa, Texas. Mr. Canterbury graduated from Texas A&M University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering.

Holly Blair

Ms. Blair joined Hibernia Resources in October 2007. Previously she was employed by North American Energy as a land and regulatory tech from 2003 through 2006. Prior to joining North American Energy, Inc., she worked as a bookkeeper for an oil and gas accounting firm. She has an Associate's Degree in Technical Drafting.

Strategic Partners

Carl Carter III

Mr. Carter has been in the Producer Finance space arranging equity, mezzanine and senior debt for oil and gas producers since early 2002.  He is the founder and owner of Southern Producer Services, LLC ("SPS").  SPS is a full service capital advisory firm for facilitating transactions involving oil and gas assets.  His transactional expertise includes deal structuring, pricing and negotiation, valuation analysis, financial modeling and investment return evaluation. The bulk of his experience is in leveraged and structured transactions, requiring solid grasp of credit and deal structure.  Previously he was with UBS Warburg Energy, LLC as an Associate Director (Origination) in its Producer Finance Group.  From 2000 to 2002 Carl was with Enron Corp. in a number of business development and new product groups involved in energy marketing, pipeline, storage and funding businesses. Carl holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).

James R Hodges

Mr. Hodges is a Texas Licensed Professional Engineer, has over 38 years of oil and gas exploration and production experience.  He has drilled and/or completed oil, high-pressure gas, saltwater disposal, injection, water source, hazardous waste injection and geothermal wells in locations ranging from West Texas to the inland waters of South Louisiana in reservoirs from sand to carbonates.  As owner of Hodges Engineering, Inc. and Central Plains Oil and Gas Corporation he is active in exploration and production in the Upper Gulf Coast and the Central Texas Area.  He provides engineering consulting services to the energy, financial and environmental industries.  Mr. Hodges graduated from Texas A&M University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
